Safe Harbour Therapy is a holistic professional wellness centre providing stress relief for the body, mind, and soul.
We are a team of dedicated, independent private practitioners who believe in our innate ability to heal. The services we offer at Safe Harbour Therapy tap into our environment, our relationships, and our own bodies to find balance and well-being.
Safe Harbour Therapy was created by Julie Long in an effort to create a place for people to find their way when they’re feeling lost. In 2003, Julie’s eldest brother, Brad, lost his struggle with depression when he took his own life. In recovering from that loss, she sought out many services over the years and all over the city. Safe Harbour Therapy was created to fill the gap in services for professionals, like her brother and herself, who find themselves struggling but have no idea what will help or where to go to receive that help. Safe Harbour Therapy is that compass to help reset your own inner GPS to find wellness: body, mind, and soul.
At Safe Harbour Therapy, we offer services within each of the 7 dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, social, occupational, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual.
Our practitioners are able to provide: counselling, clinical social work/therapy, psychotherapy, massage therapy, neurotechnology, occupational therapy, somatic experiencing, craniosacral therapy, dietetics, coaching, marriage and family therapy, reflexology, and naturopathy.
With so many options, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed about where to start. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone. At Safe Harbour Therapy, we work as a team to help you move through each dimension of wellness in the direction and pace that feels right for you.
Safe Harbour Therapy is located in a heritage building, Grosvenor Square, in the quaint corner of Stafford and Grosvenor.
It’s an inviting, comfortable, and safe place to heal in whatever capacity is right for you. We all know there’s a stigma about asking for and receiving help.
Knowing that, we’ve aimed to make the process of feeling better more manageable by paying attention to the little things that make a big difference in your healing journey.
