How I can help.

Guided Imagery and Music is a gentle psychotherapeutic approach characterized by the use of specially sequenced western classical music designed to stimulate and sustain a dynamic unfolding of imagery experiences. Your music and imagery experiences are reflections of you and are unique to your personal relationships, feelings, and personality. With the music as my co-therapist, I would be honoured to witness and guide your journey with the music, and use it to help you integrate all aspects of yourself as you move towards healing and transformation.

My story.

Music is a generous therapist. It gives, it contains, it holds, it supports, and it encourages growth. For many years I’ve worked together with music and with other people and I’ve witnessed the power and potency of music therapy. However, in the last few years I realized it more personally, as I entered into my own profound therapy journey with Guided Imagery and Music. I’ve experienced deeply the containing, holding, supportive and growth potentials of this modality, as well as its gentleness and “just right” pacing. I want to offer this to others as well.

Life outside the office.

I love spending meaningful time with my husband, teenager, and tween, and with good friends – playing games, laughing, telling stories, or sitting by the fire. The outdoors feels like my true home and I try to find opportunities to camp, roam in the woods, swim in lakes, and look at trees, plants and creatures.
