Counselling (Msc.)

It takes courage to seek out a therapist, and I congratulate you for the effort!

I believe in the resilience of my clients, and that even when they are suffering, they have important answers within themselves. Specific, respectful and kind support can help them discover what needs to change to move toward a greater sense of health. If you are feeling overwhelmed with difficulties in your life, I may be able to help.

How I can help.

I have more than 20 years experience helping people shape their stories. As you might expect from a seasoned therapist, my style is eclectic and includes mindfulness-based, play-based, cognitive-behavioural, and solution-focused approaches. I spent 12 years practicing School Psychology, and I am well-equipped to support teachers in their important role,as well as support students. I am a therapist who will bring creativity to my work with you, and will work hard to help you become the person you know you can be

My story.

I am often in awe of the human ability to move forward, even in dark times. I celebrate my clients’ resilience and strength, even as we work together to build skills that will make their lives easier and more rewarding. People are amazing.

Life outside the office.

Mindfulness approaches are important to my daily life, and I work hard to practice what I preach in terms of self-care! I enjoy walking, yoga, nature, writing, and learning. It never stops!
