Jasmine Bray-Mak

Naturopathic Doctor (B.Sc., ND)

The body is a complex and dynamic system that works in state of balance; homeostasis.

Naturopathic Medicine works to address the root cause of your concerns, and support the healing pathways in your body to help you feel your best. Whether you are looking for help with identifying and addressing the problem underlying your symptoms, are interested in preventative medicine for health longevity, or are simply interested in a natural approach to health care, I would love the opportunity to work with you to help you achieve your goals.

It is important to me that you feel safe, understood, involved and empowered by your health.

How I can help.

Naturopathic Medicine emphasizes holistic and optimal health through prevention, education and evidence-based natural treatment options. Using a patient-centred approach, I work with others to help identify the root cause of their concerns, while addressing the whole picture of each unique individual.

As a Naturopathic Doctor in Winnipeg, I am able to provide the time necessary to understand your concerns, what kind of impact they have on your life, and all that may be contributing to the problem – diet, lifestyle, mindset, environmental and social factors of wellness. I use a combination of clinical nutrition, lifestyle counselling, natural health products, botanical medicine, acupuncture, cupping and homeopathy to help you on your path to amazing health and wellness.

My story.

I first developed an interest in Naturopathic Medicine in my teens, when I spent most of my time training as a competitive figure skater in Winnipeg. The impact of diet, lifestyle habits, and mental health had always been apparent to me and I was often drawn to more natural solutions to help me reach both my health and athletic goals. As I moved towards a career path, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg, and went on to receive my Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

Throughout my education and time in practice, what I’ve come to learn is that health is something we often take for granted, even though it’s one of our most valuable assets. And while everyone has unique life experiences that get them to where they are, the confusion around how to support your whole self to remedy the imbalance, and the suffering that accompanies this struggle is fairly universal. I believe knowledge is empowering, and I focus on educating my patients so they can make choices that support their health goals. I am passionate about understanding people, and helping them through their unique obstacles so they can show up as the best version of themselves.

Life outside the office.

I believe everything in life is about balance, and maintaining your joie de vivre.

For me that includes spending time with my friends and family, staying active, traveling, and trying new things.

On a more day-to-day, you’ll often find me reading a book or a research article, cuddling with my cat, and finding a way to be outside as much as possible, especially in the sunshine.
