Counseling is quite often about finding support in the creation and building of better relationships with those around us.

If you are struggling emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually, the changes you are looking for may be addressed more easily when you help your brain function better. Using the brain mirroring neurotechnology offered in our office, you may find yourself relaxing into those changes you are hoping to achieve. You may find yourself going deeper in your therapy sessions and having more commitment in your wellness strategy.

How I can help.

A variety of health challenges have been shown to be associated with sub-optimal patterns of neural functioning.

By helping the brain to optimize its own rhythms, our neurotechnology may play an important role for individuals in achieving restful sleep; releasing “stuck” stress; overcoming worry and anxiety; restoring hope and happiness; enhancing learning and memory; increasing energy levels; or achieving peak performance.

My story.

Depression had a hold in my life until I discovered that attending to my brain function could make all the difference. With an out of balance, or stuck brain, how could I feel right or even function at my highest level? The neurotechnology I discovered is an “inside-out” brain-driven modality for relaxation and auto-calibration of neural networks leading to increased self-regulation, self-optimization, self-discernment, and self-empowerment. Come and experience it for yourself.

Life outside the office.

Gardening and renos (including building decks) keep me happy in the summer. In winter, I love my circuit training on Saturday mornings. Both keep me physically fit and “out of mischief.”

Through his work, Doidge has observed different stages in neuroplastic healing that I see as extremely pertinent to the innovative technology I offer in […]

Another Take on the “Blues”

written by Joanne Couture on 25/07/19

I would not be surprised to hear that as you read “the blues,” what comes to mind for you is that Deep South kind of music we hear at jazz festivals or that sad, melancholy, depressed feeling which has us wondering if something is “bottoming out” in us. We may not all have an appreciation […]
