Michael Somerville

Reflexology Therapist (RCRT)

Let me assist you in your endeavour to find natural solutions for greater health, wellbeing, and longevity, which is also a very important part of my own journey.

Passion for helping others.

I started in this field over 20 years ago as an Aromatherapist and Perfumer, specializing in making custom unique personal fragrances and chakra-balancing products. At that time I was exposed to a wide range of complementary therapies. As soon as I discovered Reflexology, I knew I had found a hands-on treatment modality that readily allows the application of essential oils on the body, since a) the feet have tougher skin and even pure essential oils can be applied in small amounts with less worry of skin-sensitization, and b) the holistic benefits of Aromatherapy and Reflexology Therapy for the body enhance each other when used together.

Life outside of the office.

An adventurous cook. A cat lover. Curious about all cultures of the world, I enjoy learning languages, and reading about archaeology and history—particularly food history. I am the content creator for the Instagram food account Infinite Gastrolounge. I also serve as Newsletter Director on the Manitoba Chapter board of the Reflexology Association of Canada. I’m currently nearly certified in Hand Reflexology, and studying Ear Reflexology.
