Hello and welcome, my name is Cynthia (she/her), and I’m honoured you are here. I am a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology practicum student at Safe Harbour Therapy Centre.
As a settler living and offering services in Treaty 1 territory, I strive to position myself as an ally in the process of reconciliation. I aim to approach all clients with the same curiosity and openness, holding a space that is inclusive and welcoming of all cultural communities, sexual identities, gender identities, and gender expressions.
I am passionate about supporting folks who are navigating life with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions and trauma. My approach is grounded in a trauma-informed lens, and I draw from person-centred, solution-focused, motivational interviewing and acceptance and
commitment frameworks. I believe in meeting clients where they are, empowering them to explore their strengths, and supporting them in building resilience and meaningful change.
If you would like to meet, I invite you to connect with me via email or my booking link.
