Tonia Chudy

Psychotherapist (MACP, CCC)

I’m a psychotherapist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, practicing on Treaty 1 territory—the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. As a white, cisgender woman and settler, I bring cultural humility, self-awareness, and a trauma-informed perspective to the work I do.

I support adults and teens (15+) who are navigating issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-worth, burnout, grief, trauma, or challenges in their relationships. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns they can’t explain—often feeling high-functioning on the outside, but overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside. If that resonates, you’re not alone—and therapy can help.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, solution-focused strategies, and attachment-informed tools. Sessions are a blend of practical skill-building, emotional insight, and honest conversation tailored to your needs, values, and goals.

If you're ready to begin—or simply exploring what support could look like—I invite you to reach out via email or my booking link. You don’t have to do this alone.
