Wendy McNab

Individual and Relational Therapist, Art Therapy Intern (MMFT, Art Therapy Intern)

I have been a long-time visitor to Treaty One Territory. I'm a Cree/Saulteaux woman, and I call the following community's home: George Gordon, Cowessess, and Peepeekisis First Nations in Saskatchewan—Treaty Four Territory. I am a proud Grandmother and mother. My joy is international travel and spending summer months on the road, visiting family and communities across Canada.

I have approximately 10 years of experience as a personal and academic counsellor and have been practicing as a therapist since 2018. I work with individuals, all relationships and families. I also provide wellness support on film sets. I obtained my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) from the University of Winnipeg. I am completing my Art Therapy program at the Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy (WHEAT) Institute (currently on hold).

I strongly encourage individuals to check with their insurance provider to see whether MFTs are covered. I am currently not eligible to be on FNHIB's list.
