Kyra Monk, MACP-Q

Practicum Therapist

Hi, I’m Kyra (she/her). I have worked as a crisis counsellor for the last 4 years and am offering treatment on Treaty 1 territory. My values are rooted in social justice for all and I strive to be an ally in the pursuit of reconciliation. My goal is to approach clients from a place of curiosity, aiming to create a space fostered on connection and collaboration.

I use a person centered approach to therapy, providing empathy and understanding to clients while they are navigating their unique challenges. I strive to create a space that is accepting and welcoming to folks of all cultural communities, using humanistic and solution focused approaches to create a plan that truly fits your needs.

Outside of therapy, I love to spend time outside with my family and friends. Most days I can be found reading a good book or enjoying a warm cup of coffee.

It would be my privilege to work with you and help you navigate your emotions and experiences.
